Mixing is moving things.
Drag a ring left or right and it pans. Up and down is its level. Near and far is its reverb. The mix is where the rings are, and you can see all of it at once.

Every loop you record hangs in the room as a ring, with video of you playing it. Where you put the ring is how it sounds. Hire drums, bass and keys, and they follow what you play.
